How Does Coaching Work?

You’re interesting in coaching, but not sure if it’s for you, and not really sure what it’s all about. I’ve written this post to explain to you a bit more about what coaching entails so you can see if it’s for you.

One way to think of it is like… what personal training does for your body, coaching does for your brain (or your business).

You’re still going to have to work hard, but you’ve got someone there to make sure you’re going in the right direction, to keep you accountable, and to provide professional techniques to get through your specific challenges.

My one to one coaching programmes include a 90 minute deep dive followed by 1 hour sessions every fortnight. I flex that too if you need more or less frequent sessions, but this is what works nicely for most people. I do these both on zoom or in person whichever suits best.

We’ll spend a lot of time chatting, guided by my questioning, and we’ll exchange emails and whatsapps between the sessions to keep on track – I like being here in the background whenever you need me. We’ll also utilise some of my specific resources to address certain areas of your business and get you thinking in ways you haven’t done before.

You should be ready to feel uncomfortable at points because my style of coaching is designed to really get you thinking and get you making changes around you. Have a look at some of my testimonials to see what other people think about my style.
